Project One 2010

Project One is one church coming together on one day to make a lasting difference in one community.  It’s over 1000 people giving an entire day (or half day) to serve others who are either physically of financially unable to do a practical project on their home, business or school in Northern Colorado. It started as a small vision and turned into one of the greatest humanitarian projects in Colorado touching thousands and thousands of lives. Whether you are an experienced craftsman or have never picked up a hammer, we have a place for you on the Project One Team. We plan to do over 100 projects this fall. All that is needed is a heart to serve! This is also a great way to connect and meet new people. Now is your chance to take action and make a difference in a neighbor's life and in our local communities!

When: Saturday, Oct. 9, 7:00am- 4:00 pm (Dinner and Celebration Service to Follow)

Cost: We encourage people to consider donating $25 per person to help purchase project materials and cover the costs of the event (everyone gets a t-shirt and dinner—including homeowners).

Sponsorship:  The proposed cash investment for Project 1 is about $30,000 (not including donated materials).  Individual projects cost about $300 each.  Would you, your family or your business consider sponsoring a project?  For a donation of $300 or more, we will print your company logo (or your name if you prefer) on the Project 1 shirt, on a large banner which will be displayed in the Atrium following P1, and printed in the weekend program (for 2 weeks following P1).  It’s a great way to show your support of our community.  For more information e-mail P1Sponsor@crossroadscolorado.com
